Inaugural Fishing Friday!

Do you dream of THE BIG CATCH?

Well so do we.

Thanks to the kind and magnanimous Arcana Dawn, we finally learned how to make sense of fishing in FFXIV. Some might even say fishing is TRUE end game.

Fishing 101

As we usually do, we gathered in the Kraken's Call mess hall and got educated. 

Trial by water

Equipped with the power of knowledge, we set sail for the open seas to make names for ourselves as angler legends. Or at least to make it on the record board.

Non-stop reels, it’s addicting

Day and night we persevered. 12/15 crabs. 13/15 crabs. Some of us never made it to 15…

The aetheric waves blessed us and many a funky fish was caught!

And back to ol' Limsa Lominsa we returned, triumphant in comradery.

The big catch?

Ettie Rohesia, a legend amongst legends returned with a prize, a LIVING prize - the butterfly fish.

And now it is also a part of the Kraken's Call.

Is it THE BIG CATCH?
Or was the big catch the friends we made along the way?

Beyond the horizon, beyond the biggest catch

We may never know what the big catch really is.
But know that the Kraken's Call will be behind every wave, forever chasing the horizon.
